Heads up for anyone needing a new T-Mo2Go prepaid account.
Target stores are running their $88 special again.  For $88 you get both a
$100 refill card, and a Nokia 2610 prepaid phone.

I live in the West San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles (a fringe area) and am
using AT&T TDMA which has decent (95%) coverage out here.  BUT ... I'd like
to try GSM and I'd like to have Internet access.  T-mobile is attractive
because of their pricing.  Should I switch?  Will coverage ...

I shall appreciate it if someone can let me know if data rates per minute
are the same as voice rates for T-Mobile's To Go prepaid account.
I currently pay 10 cents a minute for voice calls.
I plan to use my phone, temporarily, as a USB modem for Internet access with

Yahoo Messenger charges 15 to 27 cents to call most countries in
Europe from my computer.  That's too expansive for me.  Looking
for cheaper rates.  Thanks in advance for sharing information.
