I was just wondering. Are there any carriers that use TDMA 1900 in the United States? All the areas I found were TDMA 800 areas. I know that Rogers (and later Rogers AT&T) in Canada use TDMA 1900, but is that it? I've never seen a TDMA 800 only phone.

Just curious, but after looking at http://www.gsmarena.com/ I wondered who gets the latest model mobiles first, UK or USA?. IIRC, as a percentage of the population the UK at one time was miles ahead of the USA, when it came to owning mobiles...is this still the case?

I am in the process of upgrading my Fido (Microcell) phone. The two phones that I am considering on the GSM network is V60i and V66. We are looking for great/good transmission and receiving sound quality and reception. I dont know if the V66 is being phased out right now.
