I have a teenager that has gone through 2 phones in as many months.  He's
buying the next one.  But because it will be purchased used, probably from
eBay, Verizon won't insure it.  Does anybody know of an independent way to
insure a small item like this?  The deductible on ...

They also say they MAY be back in June. If they do they will have a new IP

Why not more attractive multi-phone plans?04 May 2004 05:30 GMT11
Seem like one way to look at it is that the providers are selling airtime
minutes.
Given that, it seems like they incur some setup overhead for each phone, but
once the phone's set up the incremental cost is zero - unless the extra page on

I'm on cingular, my wife is on AT&T (Boston area).  She wants us both to
switch to Verizon (for no reason other than she believes the "can you hear
me now" commercials and she's been getting no signal in too many places
recently).  I want a bluetooth phone which Verizon doesn't ...
v400, no voicemail indicator03 May 2004 05:04 GMT3
I bought my v400 from Cingular, and then I switched to T-Mobile. I love
everything except one thing - when I get a new voicemail now, I get a SMS
from "Voicemail" (123) saying
"You have 1 new voicemail. Dual "123" to retrieve

NORVERGENCE CELLULAR01 May 2004 14:46 GMT48
Has anyone heard of this company?  I understand that rates are quite
good.  Lots of unlimited, free long distance, no roaming, etc.  I also
understand it is just for businesses.  I cannot find any information
on them and wanted to know if anyone else has heard of them.
Beware Tracfone01 May 2004 04:35 GMT2
Tracfone will not honor their so called 30 day money back guarantee. So if
you get one you cannot turn it back in!
Also tech support is basically non existent. Customer service is lousy.
So far three days since "activation" and no service at all.
