My Verizon 2 year contract has ended, I'm on a month-to-month basis now. I want to keep my existing calling plan, it's better than any of the plans currently being offered. I'm thinking about getting a new phone, but I don't want to use the "new every 2" option because that

As you know, I am trying to find a cheap phone on Ebay for use during my India trip. So dual means 900/1800 but 900/1800/1900 would be ok too. Thanks to everyone so far. I think the trick is to search by specific model numbers. If I just say nokia or dual band, I get swamped

Dear friends, please recomemnd a good middle-of-the road GSM phone for international use (800/1800). US frequencies are not required (but I have no objection to them either). I am looking for good basics---call quality, battery life, light weight---and do not need camera, games,

| The best reference site for cell phones? | 10 Aug 2004 21:17 GMT | 1 |
I occasionally come across reference to some models and wish there was a quick way to get the essential info about them and maybe even compare them. (Clearly a manufacturer or provider is only going to list the phone they are selling so that is limited.) Is there a site where I can

I have received a Samsung SGH-E700 as a gift. It cannot be returned. It works fine in Europe, but I will be returning to Canada soon. It is safe to assume it will not work in Canada? The manual says it's a dual band phone. TIA

My son wants to upgrade his pay-as-you-go phone. He can't afford the phone he wants. My wife has an old pay-as-you-go phone but wants a contract. She quite likes my son's existing phone (for its lack of advanced features).

I'm looking for a cell phone for my mom. I looked into adding her to my plan, but I would have to bump my plan from 29 a month to 59 a month. This phone is probably going to be used maybe once or twice a year at most. I've looked at the Tracfone service and see lots of
