Sprint Nextel merger is a bad thing for Nextel Staff30 Dec 2004 21:49 GMT30
It's too bad that Sprint appears to be taking a majority share in
regard to the merger. They are trying to make this look like a 50-50
merger, but anyone familiar with business knows that this is just smoke
and mirrors, and that Sprint is really just buying Nextel's customers

looking to use my cell phone as my PIM as I don't really need it for
anything other then contacts and a calendar.

Spartanburg Area Service Providers29 Dec 2004 04:22 GMT2
I would like customer opinions since service reps more than likely lie
to get your business. I am looking for a reliable wireless service
provider in the Spartanburg area (that covers rural areas like Inman
and Campobello, SC).
NEED cell phone that can stay charging in car without turning off.29 Dec 2004 00:10 GMT21
I currently have a Motorola i720 and it does this bull@#$% at the end of its
charging time (in my car):
       "Charge Complete"
Thing is, I want my phone ALWAYS ON, and ALWAYS CONNECTED AND CHARGING.
Wilson Cellular worth the "Doh"?28 Dec 2004 19:40 GMT15
My wife and I have finally decide we need a better way to communicate
then the unreliable landline that has plagued our existance for more
years then I'd like to think about.  I have had more outages with my
phone then with a dead battery in my flashlight.  Of course with a
2 Year Plan Worth it????28 Dec 2004 16:01 GMT1
I have been a Sprint customer for 2 years. My contract is ending soon
and I am wondering if I should change carriers or stick to Sprint. I
have narrowed it down to only two carriers working for me, that being
either Sprint (still) or Cingular. I live in Indiana. Looking at the
TracFone phone number questions28 Dec 2004 08:15 GMT1
Hello. I bought a TracFone (Motorola 120) for my mom for Christmas. I
went to activate it and when I inputted my zip code, it said no lines
were available in my area. I tried other areas around me (Pittsburgh
area) and still no go, finally one went through for zip code 15222.
Sprint Nextel Merger: Employee Benefits and Bashing the Messenger28 Dec 2004 06:58 GMT134
I've been reading the posts about the Sprint Nextel merger (or more
accurately, Sprint's acquisition of Nextel), and was surprised to see
how negatively people had responded to comments in regard to how Nextel
employees will suffer negative consequences as a result.
Need help with textmessaging27 Dec 2004 09:22 GMT1
Hey, I just got a new cellphone from samsung. Every time I try to write a
text message, the letters don't show up as I type them. Like if I press 4
twice, instead of just showing 'H' I get 'Hi'. This word makes sense because
it shows up as a word, but when i try to write a different ...
Why does my headset make so much noise?27 Dec 2004 05:30 GMT4
It seems like it wasn't always this way, but whenever I use my headset
I get bad reception, weird noises, static...?
Program to convert between ringtone formats27 Dec 2004 05:05 GMT2
I once downloaded a free program that converts MIDI files to various ring
tone formats, such as for a Samsung.  Now I can't find it, and I can't even
remember the name of the program.  Suggestions?
Wireless Co.s ensure regret for landline droppers26 Dec 2004 04:13 GMT54
This is the end of my first week after switching from landline to
wireless service for my home phone.  I'm using Cellsocket, which
enables continued use of our existing home phone wiring and handsets,
but routes the calls through a cellphone.  I've been generally pleased

Does this phone exist?24 Dec 2004 19:12 GMT1
I'm sure I know the answer but I'll ask anyway.  I am looking for a
relatively economical cell phone (preferably AWS/Cingular) that is both a
phone & a Palm Pilot.  I know something like the Treo is very much out of my
price range but I am only looking for those two features (phone ...
