On my "regular" cell phone account, I'm paying about 25% taxes. I don't use that many minutes, but need the phone to service my customers. The only reason that I don't go to prepaid is presrvation of the number that I've had for over 10 years and which probably 1,500 people know and ...

Before Verizon upgraded voice mail systems a few weeks ago, I would often dial my own voice mail to leave myself reminder messages. (The meager 30 seconds for voice memos on my Nokia 6015i just doesn't cut it.) Now, though, whether I'm dialing *86 or my own phone number from

| A question about CDMA | 02 Aug 2005 21:10 GMT | 2 |
In India (and elsewhere?), all CDMA providers hardwire the ESN right into the phone. What I want to know is is why? Why cant that be put into something like the sim? Is this just a marketing decision or is there something technical that forces providers to do this? India uses
