The new tracfone I received and activated today seems ok, but I don't
see the minutes cost as such a great deal.   The very best deal I
could find costs over 21 cents a minute when you add all the cost and
assume the best possible use even though they say 10 cents a minute.

5 minutes call cost 5 rupees. But I can access net for 24 hours in 5
rupees on my cell through GPRS. I am using line to access server. Then
why cost more for call?

  I am an ex-ATT/Cingular customer, with a Sony-Ericsson T610. At
expiration of the contract, I had my phone unlocked through some
merchant at ebay (4$). I'm now in Italy, and just tried my cell with a
SIM card from a local provider, that works on a friends' cell phone

My complaint:
VirginMobile uses FedEx to deliver new phone. Requires signature.
FedEx delivers at time when I am not at home.  I call, tell them when I
WILL be at home.  They try to deliver AGAIN when I am not at home...
