Cingular 8525 / HTC TyTN16 Feb 2007 03:17 GMT4
OK, I've decided I really need a Pocket PC with a phone rather than the
other way around.  I'm with Cingular and the 8525 looks like the ticket for
connectivity (US and traveling elsewhere), email with attachments and
overall productivity.

Tmobile text messages13 Feb 2007 21:15 GMT3
I am receiving spam text messages on my phone through Tmobile.
Apparently, I have to pay 10 cents for each of these, and the
representative refuses to remove the charges.  Also, supposedly there
is no way to block text messages.  Is there anything I can do to get a
White pages site with vCard support for PDA phones?12 Feb 2007 14:50 GMT2
I've been searching for an hour, and I can't find a single site where
I can look up people's addresses and phone numbers and download them
as a vCard to my PDA phone (Windows Mobile 5.0).
The closest thing I found was people.yahoo.com, which claims to have

Cell Number Database09 Feb 2007 20:03 GMT6
I'm looking for a service, along the lines of intelius, that you can
look up people's cell phone numbers on. All of the sites that I have
seen are either reverse lookup, or every lookup costs a great deal of
money.
Cellular Phone /w GPS Wifi09 Feb 2007 09:00 GMT2
I am looking for a cellular phone with GPS and Wifi. Idially, it
should run Windows Mobile. I know of the HP 6925/6945 but at $600 it's
too expensive. Unfortunately, they also don't offer it for consumers
with a 2 year contract and a corresponding discount. Any input is
Smartphone for international travel?09 Feb 2007 06:45 GMT2
I've browsed through the messages here but I'm still uncertain as to what I
should buy.  I'd like to move from a regular voice-only phone to something
that I can use for email and web browsing.  I'm on Cingular in the US (I'll
change if necessary) and have a tri-band GSM phone ...

In my ongoing search for a cell phone that will work throughout rural Maine I
have been told that GSM phones can operate on various frequencies and not all
of them are able to switch automatically  I am led to believe that Maine
