Nokia 6133 and FM Modulator19 May 2007 00:22 GMT2
I work at a computer store and have a Nokia 6133; great phone btw.  I
had a customer come in with an LG that had an app to select radio
frequencies so she could use the phone as an fm modulator and send the
music on the phone to her car stereo.
Phone Suggestions for Traveling in Europe18 May 2007 17:12 GMT4
If I am planning a trip to Europe, how can I buy and activate a cell
phone which will work for the short-term during that trip?  I currently
have Verizon service in the U.S.  Can I buy an unlocked GSM cell phone
plus a sim card which works in the EU and then forward my calls from ...
US pre-paid plans that include roaming?16 May 2007 02:51 GMT6
I've only looked at Cingular/ATT's GoPhone pay-as-you-go plans, and
it's clear that the phones only work on Cingular's own network.
Do any US pre-paid schemes include any sort of roaming arrangements,
at any price?
Home Phone Networking with a twist...13 May 2007 06:21 GMT2
I'd like to set up a home network for my phone systems, but here's the
catch - I only have one line  - a Bluetooth enabled cell phone. I am
confident enough that I can wire my home phone lines, but I do not
want to hook up phone service through a regional provider.

a good site for user-created mobile content09 May 2007 14:41 GMT1
I’m fascinated by the mobile phone market.  Like, I’m one of those people
that changes their ring tones, wallpapers, outgoing message… pretty much
everything I can change I change weekly.  My latest find has been
http://offspot.com/Default.aspx which is kind of cool because it’s got
Bluetooth and Motorola E81508 May 2007 11:48 GMT2
I have the E815 and three different bluetooth headsets.  Each one of
the combinations lose connection when I am not on a call.  It doesn't
happen all the time but often enough it's a pain in the a.s.
I can never tell when it happens until I get an incoming call.  Then I

Why use a SMS gateway?03 May 2007 03:23 GMT6
Flame me if this has been beaten to death, but with the VA Tech
shootings, our University's IT team has been exploring group texting
options.  There are plenty of solution providers, group text websites
and SMS gateways, but it seems to me that I could set up a listserv

Cingular Wireless coverage in NH?01 May 2007 21:35 GMT4
Anyone here from the New Hampshire area that knows if Cingular's
coverage is any good here? I'm thinking about getting an iPhone, but
don't know if Cingular's service is good enough to warrant it (seems
like pretty much everyone in NH uses Verizon, and even that is pretty
