used my phone in Utah (where I live), on a national plan, could I get
away with that?

In areas that went GSM/GAIT only, such as N. and S. Jersey in the last 6
months, what happened to al the TDMA phone they had in stock ?
What if I wanted to replace my TDMA phone with another new, lighter TDMA
one as they were selling 6 months ago, could I any longer do it ?

Does anyone know if a way for small businesses to process credit cards
via a wireless phone? I am thinking either to call a WAP site to
process the card, or to find a way to hook a credit card processing

I just don't get it. PCS stands for Personal Communcation system or
something like that. That being the case Sprint phones can be called
PCS, but so can a walkie talkie, or a baby monitor. So what is the
difference between Sprint and Cingular?

We are thinking of switching to Cingular from another carrier.   Any
opinions on the coverage, service, and phone to buy for this area?  I
don't need web or email access just a good phone to talk on.

explaining that they've changed the contract, I'm sure most people got
this... but my question is, when I was with VZW if they did this it meant
that I could cancel my contract w/o paying an ETF, is this ...

How's coverage in the Blackburg area and VA Tech?  My current "Home" plan is
in northern VA, Loudoun County (Zip 20180).  If I drive 8 miles north to MD,
I am in "Extended".  How far south can I go before I leave "Home" and enter
"Extended"?    Can I trust the maps at
