Does anyone know why Cingular has blocked analog roaming in the
Carolinas?  There is much of the two states that does not yet have
digital service, and the 6340i will lock onto analog signals in other
areas when digital is not available.  Why not in the Carolinas?

I am at a dead end w/Cingular customer svc. I have a Nokia 6100 and
after many hours with Cingular Customer Service they tell me there is
no GPRS in Los Angeles because I can't get a "G" icon on my phone and
can't send any picture messages.

I would like to hear form some people that have switched. I am a CSR for
that area and NY/Manhattan. What do you guy's think of the GSM coverage and
reception as opposed to the TDMA? I hear we are only at 2% functionality in
Philly.This info was from a dealer so I am not sure if it ...

   My Cingular Wireless service contract is about to expire.  I purchased
my service in Lafayette, Indiana.  On Highway 38.  I am one of those people

have to get a new phone I won't be able to have AMPS/TDMA ...

I was offered a good deal through Cingular on the Samsung S307 ($100.00). If
there is anyone out there who has one and would like to share the pros and
cons, please do.  I'm torn between going to Verizon and the LG 4400 and
staying with Cingular and the S307.

anybody (dealers welcome) who could sent me one already activated with the

I'm going to be selling my 6340i soon on eBay and wanted to know if anyone
in a Cingular market could activate the phone or if only those in GAIT and
TDMA areas could activate the phone?

I was playing around today and found that my new Nokia 3595 fits perfectly
into a small slip-in type sunglasses pouch.  After visiting my friendly
eyeglasses vendor I came home with three different colored, leather, stiched
cases that fit the Nokia just perfectly.

Anyone know where you could pick up a Cingular phone @ a discount? I've
checked eBay, but didn't find the one I was looking for - @ least not for
enough of a price difference. I'd trade mine in but I haven't had my
contract all that long.

A guy I work with got a Nokia 6340i today.
I have an unlocked Nokia 3590 with a SwissCom SIM.
With the SwissCom SIM I am able to perform System Selection on my 3590,
letting me see all the GSM carriers in the area.
