Amber Alert system16 Aug 2003 18:30 GMT11
I think Cingular should jump on the bandwagon. I mean think about it.
Most of the Amber Alert's that come out include a vehicle description
as well as a license plate (in some cases).
Cingular Wireless as the second largest wireless company in the USA
Rollover on the family plan! 16 Aug 2003 13:42 GMT3
Does any one know if this is nationwide yet or just in the Carolinas? I see
comeercials here in SC for roll over minutes on the family plan yet the last
time I checked with Cingular it wasn't available in Texas !
Any one know?
Samsung S307 vs Motorola V6616 Aug 2003 04:52 GMT1
I am choosing between S307 on Cingular and V66 on T-Mobile.
Other than cost, can anyone comment on call quality or important features
one has the other doesn't.  The color screen is not that important.
Thanks
Is Verizon Evil?16 Aug 2003 01:42 GMT14
Recently with all the news about LNP and PTT I feel as though something
needs to be said about Verizon.  To me Verizon is like Microsoft.  They
like to steal other people?s ideas and implement them as though they
were the ones that developed PTT or they were the ones that introduced
Need help picking free phone15 Aug 2003 17:02 GMT3
I am new here.  I will be switching to Cingular in a week, and I need help
picking one of the free phones.  I am interested to know if any of you have
any strong positive or negative feelings on any of these:

St. Louis Market Conversion15 Aug 2003 16:06 GMT2
I was wondering if anyone can enlighten me as to when the full blown GSM
conversion will take place in the St. Louis market?  Does anyone have any
idea of a real date as opposed to a target date?  I'm having trouble getting
a real answer.  Thanks in advance to anyone in the know.
Preferred Nation verses GSM Nation (with Family Talk extra line)15 Aug 2003 11:23 GMT1
When I ordered my Nokia 6340i phones 2 weeks ago, I ordered Cingular
Nation (not preferred) with Family Talk.  After I ordered it, they changed
their web site for my city to say that the 6340i was not compatible with
Nation (even though if you said you are from Michigan, only the ...
FYI: Nokia 6340i cannot be unlocked14 Aug 2003 21:42 GMT1
Perhaps this has been mentioned here before, but I want to confirm that the
Nokia 6340i GAIT phone cannot be unlocked.    I got the "unlock" code from
Cingular, but upon trying to use it, we had a 3 way conference call with the
Nokia folks.   They basically said that since this is ...
Roadside Assistance14 Aug 2003 20:45 GMT2
I just got my Cingular "Back to School Special" e-mail today. One of the
specials is Free Roadside Assistance for 60 days. The problem is it gives me
up to 4 calls a year, and limited to $50.00 per service call.
Right now I use Amico Motor Club and Cingular's service is $15.00 less ...
GSM Nation14 Aug 2003 17:24 GMT1
All of the GSM only nation plans that I have seen on the cingular
website state that in the GSM coverage area only anytime minutes apply.
I clicked through a couple of different cities and states and noticed
that Los Angeles California's map states that anytime and night &
Cingular Phones14 Aug 2003 04:25 GMT4
So is it just me or is Cingular kinda screwy when it comes to phones. I have
a T68i that was great at first but now will not let me keep a call for more
than 1 mile when driving.  I replaced the phone and replaced my SIM and now
I have a phone that doesn't work.
Couple of Cingular questions14 Aug 2003 00:19 GMT8
I'm still shopping around. I'm leaving Sprint, and have now narrowed it down
to Cingular and ATTWS (I wanted T Mobile, but they dont offer service in
NC).
Couple of questions:
Cingular Replacement Phone Upgrade Program14 Aug 2003 00:10 GMT2
Cingular Question:
A friend has informed me that since I have had the same cellphone, a Nokia
6120, for about 7 years, that I have built up points towards a potential
free upgrade. Is this true and how does it work?
Cingular National Plans13 Aug 2003 19:45 GMT3
Does anyone know the exact differences between these two Cingular
"national" plans:
Cingular "Nation"
Cingular "True Nationwide"
Cingular GSM in Northeast13 Aug 2003 17:29 GMT3
In all honesty, would switching from Cingular preferred nation TDMA to
the Cingular GSM nation plan even be worth it? There is hardly any
coverage with the GSM plan. In places such as Maine & New Hampshire,
where Cingular TDMA relies solely on roaming agreements, there is little
