Apparently can't sign up for cingular service online without agreeing to a 2 year contract, which is unacceptable. Any way to get no contract? Or at least a 1 year?

If I knew the unlock code for a 6340i can I do this my self or does it have to be SENT to my phone. If I unlock my 6340i will it still be a five way phone or will it be just gsm. And how do they keep the unlock code so secret ? Is it the same if you are using Cingular or another ...

I bought a Motorola V60T phone, and Cingular said that they will not activate a non GSM phone on the Cingular network. The was original activated on Cingular, strange, are they pulling my leg.
