| Cingular phone unlock? | 12 Sep 2003 04:46 GMT | 1 |
I just signed up with Cingular (via SBC, great deal - 20% off my monthly rate and they knock an additional $20 off my DSL service thru SBC) and I just received the Sony Ericsson T316 today. I had been using T-Mobile which is also GSM, so I switched the SIM cards between the phones.

The state of California has cited Cingular for millions of dollars, saying that Cingular failed to comply with trail period testing for customers from 2000 to 2002. California is also demanded a repayment of all cancelation fees. Cingular argues that what they did was lawful and

| Never the same answer | 11 Sep 2003 03:32 GMT | 11 |
I stepped into a Cingular store today, in Everett. I spoke with one of the sales reps about the T62U. This chap stated that they had them in storage but they couldn't sell them because Cingular couldn't make figure out the billing.

| 6340i powers down by it's self | 10 Sep 2003 23:45 GMT | 8 |
I bought a new "in package" 6340i and have owned for over 4months. Although the phone "overall" works great, it will shut down all by it's self. The conditions for shut down don't seem to make a difference, either carrying it, or sitting on the table over night.

Of course all who know the answer feel free to chime in. I see that in the Wireless Internet settings on my Nokia 6340i phone I have an IP address, dial-up number, Home page, username and password. All are specific to Cingular Wireless. Thus if I don't have Wireless
