Nokia 3595 Data Cable31 Oct 2003 02:58 GMT1
does anyone know is it possible to hook a data cable to a Nokia 3595? It
seems quite hazy as to whether this is possible or not. have searched some
accessory site and not found one. All I really wanna do is upload ring tones
to it, buying them online seems crazy to fork out $2 for ...

I was roaming onto ATT all the time and it was really bad. I could hear fine

Cingular & International30 Oct 2003 05:45 GMT3
I currently have a Sony T616 (unlocked) and will be travelling to Italy this

provider over there?  Would it be cheaper to get a prepaid sim?
If anyone could help me out, I would appreciate it.
Preferred Nation Rates29 Oct 2003 16:54 GMT8
I was just looking at the Cingular coverage maps, and noticed the
following statement:
"When your phone's display reads CINGULAR EXTEND, Cingular Preferred
Nation rates apply. Digital features are available when your digital

Overlaying GSM on TDMA29 Oct 2003 14:19 GMT6
When Cingular says they are overlaying GSM on TDMA frequencies, there
are certain things which don't make sense to me.  I would appreciate it if
someone could help me understand how this works technically.
1)  Do GSM and TDMA occupy the same timeslots at the same time?  Since ...
Sony Ericsson T22629 Oct 2003 13:59 GMT8
I just bought a sony ericsson t226 for use in the DAL market.  I notice that
in some parts of the metroplex, my phone goes to "Cingular Extend".  Does
this mean that the GSM signal is not reaching my phone in these areas or is
something else going on?  When they turned on GSM in ...
Some Exchanges Not Connecting29 Oct 2003 07:57 GMT3
There is at least one particular phone exchange in the 804 area code that
will not connect with a cingular phone.  A recording is received that says
"the number can not be completed as dialed".  I will work on other providers
and land lines.   A visiting Cingular Tech the local ...
International Roaming29 Oct 2003 02:56 GMT3
I recently switched to Cingular GSM because I travel internationally a
lot for business (mostly Brazil and Mexico) and I thought that GSM
would allow easy roaming and switching of SIM chips to local
providers.  The salesman told me I was all set up to travel
Limited number of GAIT phones28 Oct 2003 21:25 GMT7
I'm surprised there are only two GAIT phones on the market
for Cingular (according to PhoneScoop).
Did a phone search and the only requirements I specified
were Cingualr and GAIT.
A general question...28 Oct 2003 02:37 GMT1
I am running a GAIT phone on the Preferred Nation.  Does that plan allow
for any GSM coverage, other than home area?
And a question I've been meaning to ask Cingular but always forgot, and
it's not on their website:  How much is long distance to Canada on the
Cingular network and nokia27 Oct 2003 19:23 GMT16
Hopefully my post makes sense :)  Currently am with Cingular and have a
Nokia 3360.  Not terribly happy with the phone battery life - works for
about 45 mins and stops.  Either way, would like a new phone and also am
considering ATT since I'm not under contract.  Two questions - any ...
