Phone Upgrade before end of two year contract27 Oct 2003 00:17 GMT10
we are 20 months into our 24 month contract with cingular, we had two
phones, both Motorola t193  (I think that is the model). Anyhow one phone
got wet and died, even the sim card will not work in the other phone. Now
the other phone's battery is nearly dead (not holding it's ...

Cingular billing sucks, keeps charging toll calls!!25 Oct 2003 23:13 GMT9
I'm on the old Home 75 plan with free nationwide long distance.  For some
reason, they keep charging me for the toll calls even when I'm in my home area
100% of the time.  I have to call customer service and ask them for toll charge
credit every month.  Apparently, my account is not ...

obvious on the Nokia TEXT messaging is much easier But I never have used

Buying a V60I GSM25 Oct 2003 18:25 GMT2
Cingular retail stores don't sell the V60 anymore.  But there are tons on
the internet sales distributors (new in box) for cingular's network
Here is the question:
The phones from the internet don't come with a SIM card. So, do I just get
Motorola V60i and Cingular25 Oct 2003 16:40 GMT8
I recently renewed our family plan with Cingular. Their service here in So,
Jersey was excellent for 2 years.
We upped our old Nokia phones to newer ones except I opted for the
Motorola. My wife and son's phones work fine, but the V60i stops responding
May or May Not Work Question25 Oct 2003 11:56 GMT8
I'm not sure how to correctly ask my question, so I've describe
what I'm looking for and you all can figure out what I'm trying
to ask.

Sony t616 works great with a Mac!24 Oct 2003 23:28 GMT1
I just switched to a Sony t616 and have found that it works wonderfully
with a Mac running OS-X, syncing is transparent using Address Book and
bluetooth! No software needed to install at all (well considering the
disk that Sony provides is for PCs only) and is really easy to
Siemens S5624 Oct 2003 17:19 GMT1
I'm kind of thinking of dumping my Sony T616 for a Siemens S56. I'd like
to keep the bluetooth. Anyway, does anyone have any comments on this
phone? My main ONLY complaint with the t616 is it's RF reception.
GSM in New Orleans24 Oct 2003 16:22 GMT3
I was in the mall last night in Metairie (N.O. suburb) and the Cingular
employees were busy setting up new phones after hours. I spied several
new (to Cingular in THIS area) GSM phones from S/E, Nokia, etc. I asked
them through the locked security gate if they were stocking up ...
Why can't I use T68i24 Oct 2003 08:29 GMT9
Why can't I take the sim from my T62u and put it in my T68i? The T68i shows
a couple of bars for a few seconds, then no signal.
Is it because Cingular is on 850 and the T68i is on 900?
If that's the case, why'd dey do dat?

Bluetooth cell phones23 Oct 2003 19:07 GMT1
Are there any other phones that will work with Cingular that are
bluetooth enabled? I like the possibilites bluetooth gives me with the
T616, but am not so sure I like the RF reception of the phone. At first
I thought it was Cingular's new network, now I'm thinking it's the phone ...
