I can't believe I'm the only one getting Voice Mail Deposit minute
charges on my Cingular Wireless bill! The bill I received yesterday had
them again, despite dozens (literally!!!) of promises from CW that it
wouldn't happen again.

Well my second time to call cingular and they were fast and solved my
problem. Got a new phone (new to me but used) and I wanted to swap with an
old phone I had on Cingular prepaid KIC. Called 611 and one of the first
thing I was given was a 1-866 number to call if I had a problem ...

Cingular Wireless has the worst customer service of any company I have
ever delt with. My porting nightmare started at the end of November and
as of today 12/30/2003 it is still not working. I was porting 3 wireline
numbers to 3 cell phones they started by submiting the port ...

a friend has Cingular and just recently picked up a nokia 3595 ( has built
in aol messenger). From his phone, he can connect to AOL messenger and see
his buddy list and also start to chat w/ regular IM users. According to him
it doesn't use GPRS coz he doesn't have it nor did he ...

this is what i heard. ive used generic wired handsfree types before and they
werent TOO bad. the inferior quality was noticeable but hey, they worked and
were good enough for me. primary use is in the car.
will generic bluetooth handsfree's be the same or even worse? i cant justify

Anyone had any success connecting a Tungsten T to the Internet through
Cingular using a Bluetooth phone such as the Siemens S56?
If so, how did you do it. I do have Internet access  on my phone.

thailand.  Roam from there???? Buy a card here in the US and hope it works?
Buy a Sim card in Thailand? Just forget the cell phone and use a calling

Is it in general possible for a computer email to be sent to show up as
a textmessage?  Do you need some extra-few-dollars-a-month service for
that?  (phone-to-phone text messaging works fine)  If there is a way,
is there a way to disallow all incoming textmessages from computers

I am hard of hearing (especially higher frequencies) and have trouble
heaing my Nokia 6349i ring (or any other cell phone for that matter)
I have tried the different ring tones and have the ring volume set
high (5).
