I switched from ATT to cingular over 24 hours ago....still in mixed services. I thought the kinks had been worked out - guess not. Any suggestions on how to get ATT to get off their butts and get it done? Carrying two phones around is a real pain!

| Cingular PTT | 03 Feb 2004 15:43 GMT | 8 |
Word from some of the cingular people is that Cingular is to get a PTT function on some of thier phones in the near future. This is to keep up with the likes of Nextel and Sprint and Verizon who jumped on the bandwagon. I am not sure how well that a PTT will work with a GSM system

Went on cingular.com and had error messages getting to rate plan pages, then they were available a couple minutes later. Gone are the Superhome plans for Detroit. They are renamed Regional GSM plans w/o the extended area w/a GAIT phone. They also have re-priced the 6340i and t62u ...

| data call? | 01 Feb 2004 21:21 GMT | 2 |
I got a weird incoming call earlier today. The phone rang and it was a number I didn't recognize, long distance, something like area code 272. Anyway, the phone (SE T616) didn't ring with the normal ring tone, it rang like the alarm tone. On the display, it said I had a data call ...

| 6340i, can I disable roaming? | 01 Feb 2004 14:45 GMT | 4 |
Howdy, I just picked up a 6340i. Is there anyway to set the phone so that it won't ROAM? I'd prefer that the phone doesn't roam on its own unless I really need it,
