Fax by cellphone?21 Mar 2004 03:10 GMT7
Hi... Does anyone know if there is a way I can use my regular fax
machine through my cellphone?  I have gotten rid of my landline at my
home and this is the only thing I miss.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Rate Plan Question.  Is this true?20 Mar 2004 18:01 GMT3
On another forum, a member was asking about Cingular nation plans.  I had
written and said to be sure he understood the difference in GSM and GAIT
plans as with the GSM you could end up with roaming charges.  He wrote back
and this is what he said.

I am traveling to Germany in a couple of weeks (for a week), and want
to know if it is worth my while to upgrade my phone before I go from
the Nokia 3360 (NO GSM) to the Nokia 6340i?  If I do this can I use
the phone in Germany?  How much will it cost to use overseass?
Vmails minutes16 Mar 2004 18:34 GMT1
If you use your cell to check vmails, are the minutes coming out of your
anytime minutes or does that count as a wireless to wireless call since you
are basically calling your own phone number.
Cingular Contracts15 Mar 2004 17:30 GMT3
Hello. My contract with Cingular has just expired. I was considering
switching because I am in the TDMA market. Anyway, I don't know if I
really want to do that right now or if that is the best option at all
for me right now. Will I get a letter at the end of the month asking
a TDMA cingular phone - what the hell?15 Mar 2004 07:15 GMT27
so i won this off ebay, a motorola v60i (t) cause it said it was for
use on cingular. i made a post about it a week or so ago cause the
description said (c) which would indicate a cdma phone, but alas it is
the (t) model... what this cant be a cingular phone you say? yeah
Cingular Voicemail Help14 Mar 2004 13:03 GMT5
I have Cingular's prepaid KIC plan, and I need some help with
accessing my voicemail. It probably is the same for all Cingular
customers -- prepaid or not -- so any help/tips would be appreciated.
In the brochure it says I can call my wireless number from a landline

Cingular to Charge International Text Messaging?11 Mar 2004 06:30 GMT9
I just received an advisory from Cingular yesterday noting that
effective March 22, 2004 ALL test messages sent and received will be
billed at the text messaging rate. This is a bit confusing because I
already have a text messaging plan and all text messages I send out
Quality in LA10 Mar 2004 05:41 GMT14
I live in Los Angeles (90069) and am thinking of switching to Cingular; I
currently subscribe to Verizon.
How is cellular reception in the LA area on Cingular, particularly in
mid-city area?
GAIT Phone and SIM Chip Question and Clarification10 Mar 2004 01:56 GMT10
It is my understanding (they told me so) that June 12 is the big day
for Cingular to unveil and have about 25 new GSM phones. The small
choice of GAIT phones is just to get by until then.
I don't want to buy a new GAIT phone since i won't be keeping it
