stolen. Cingular sat on that fact for a few days, and finally mailed

Well I have spoken to a CS rep. at AT&T today and they have V600's in stock
and are selling them to the public. I assume they are "Locked" into AT&T's
network, but I also assume they can be unlocked somehow later in the future.
But thats no big deal for me.

I've decided to wait for the Motorola V600 as my next Cingular phone
(rumour puts it on the Cingular plate by end-of-month)
I'd like to get a second battery, home charger, car charger & headset for
it.  I know this stuff can be had for cents on the dollar from eBay but

I reported a phone lost and Cingular suspended its service as requested.
After deciding it was truly gone, I got a replacement phone - same phone
number.  If someone were to find that lost phone, would they be able to
send or receive calls on my (previously its) phone number?
