I'm moving to Texas in a couple of weeks. I was hoping to upgrade my cellular service to a Cingular Nation GSM plan, but didn't have a GSM phone and haven't been under contract long enough to get a deal on a phone upgrade from Cingular.

Can anyone offer some advise as to how to get my GPRS and CSD connections working? I am using a Siemens S56 on Cingular Wireless. Everytime I try to download a file I get a " GPRS connection failure"

So, Cingular does not allow me to roam onto AT&T (or anybody) within my home area. Will roaming work outside of this area if I travel cross country, or does Cingular not allow roaming anywhere (even though I am paying for a free roaming national plan)?

I need some help understanding different Motorola phones. I just got back from the Cingular store, where they showed me the v400 and another phone (721 maybe?) THe clerk said that the V400 had 3 bands of service vs. 2 on the other phone.
