CELLNET of Michigan SUCKS! IMHO16 May 2004 02:57 GMT1
*I* think they have BAD Customer Service, and very bad relations with some
of their customers, add mediocre rate plans, and it all adds up to the idea
they SUCK!  Find out why..

When does it roam? Region vs. Nation coverage15 May 2004 21:03 GMT4
At my home, AT&T coverage is much stronger than Cingular.   If I'm on the
Nation plan, when would I 'roam' onto the AT&T network?
Does anyone know the parameters of  when a Cingular phone would begin
'roaming' onto a different network?

rings and tones15 May 2004 03:55 GMT4
check out this software which makes use of MP3 capabilities of V300, V400,
and V600 phones from Cingular. Rips any CD track, MP3 file (or WAV, VOX,
OGG, AVI audio, etc) or record your voice to make custom voice rings and
sends them to the phone all in one shot. All functionality ...
Nokia 6340i Lockup14 May 2004 20:44 GMT4
I have had a 6340i for about a month now. I just had a "lockup" where
the phone would not respond to any keys (I may have inadvertently hit a
couple of keys at the same time). Had to turn it off and back on to get
it working again. Firmware version is the latest: 8.06.1
Bluetooth Phone with the best reception??14 May 2004 07:49 GMT5
What Bluetooth phone has the best reception? It doesn't matter about
size or features. I just want a phone that will allow me to use
bluetooth to communicate with my Sony Clie. I live in a rural setting
and the reception is not the best, I am currently using a Sony T616.
Sony Ericsson T637 on Cingular14 May 2004 05:06 GMT2
The Sony Ericsson T637 is coming soon to Cingular.  We were
in a store today and they had the plastic model and the
literature and said it was coming soon.  Does anybody know
when it will be available?
GSM echos getting worse?13 May 2004 19:06 GMT1
I've had "some" echos on my GAIT plan 6340i's ever since the GSM system
went live in DFW but in the last few weeks it has gotten much worse.  At
least 2/3 of the calls now have echos varing from minor to basically
full volume echos of everything I say.  Has anyone else noticed an ...

Anyone have Cingular in the Raleigh NC area?
I'm interested in switching to Cingular from Alltel(CDMA) and wondered what
their coverage is like in the area, if anyone has any info to pass along it
would be most helpful.

back?
STINKULAR internet (GSM) access FOUL!12 May 2004 23:01 GMT6
I just got rid of all internet access on my two Cingular T720s.  Seems I was
LIED TO by more than one manager/rep who told me I could use my Minutes for
GPRS access and not this rip off 1MB 6.99 mo. plan they had set up.  Anyone
know of a company out there that will do this?  AT&T ...

Incoming call problems...12 May 2004 04:54 GMT5
Greetings from Atlanta, GA...I have no problems placing calls but since
purchasing my v600 to replace my v60 last week everyone tells me they are
having to call me 2-4 times before successfully connecting.  Unsuccessful
attempts result in fast busy, "cannot be completed as dialed" ...
