traded for spectrum? I heard Triton PCS is involved......
6340 to 6340 problems04 May 2004 03:52 GMT6
Bought a new nokia 6340i on ebay to replace my battle scarred old 6340i.
This phone is meant to be used on cingular (hence the cingular insert on
phone). I transferred my phone book to the sim and copied it to the new
phone. The text looks much smaller on the new phone, no biggie, ...

issue?

GPRS Icon disapeared and wont come back03 May 2004 12:26 GMT2
My GPRS icon won't show up.  When I turn the phone on it shows a line
but then disapears.  I have tried removing the SIM and battery.  The
only way I can get the GPRS signal to show up is use my wifes SIM.  Any
help on what needs to be done to get this back would be appreciated.
BEWARE OF CINGULAR03 May 2004 06:24 GMT43
Stay away from this provider. Service is terrible, more dead zones than a
cemetery, whole major cities do not have coverage. I went to Phoenix on
business and took my phone so I could call home, and could not get a signal.
I live in NYC. When I called cingular they said they had NO ...
V600 from Cingular03 May 2004 06:22 GMT3
I read here and there that Cingular will offer the V600 sometime in May???
Anyone with a more specific date and price for the v600??? from cingular???
Plus I noticed that the V600 is not an "EDGE" phone on AT&T's data network.
Is that the same for cingular???
Unlock S4003 May 2004 04:21 GMT3
Just bought an used Siemens S40 because I need the triband for an O/S trip.
I am on AT&T and did not realised that the phone is locked to Cingular.
Now, the phone will not work with my SIM card.
What options do I have, short of selling the phone to someone who can use it
v400 volume too low03 May 2004 03:56 GMT3

Wonder why MOT made max volume lower than the V60i which is fine.

Will Cingular ever add some new phones to their lineup???02 May 2004 02:31 GMT10
I have been waiting for a while checking everyday for Cingular to add some
new quality phones to their lineup.
I read in the posts that the V600 might be in sometime in May!!! I hope
there are some others like the Nokia 6820...

Is There any Difference Between older SIMS and Newer SIMS?01 May 2004 14:58 GMT4
If I get a Motorola V600 or a newer Nokia and use the SIM from my
older 6340i, is there anything I'll miss out on?
Is there anything better with newer SIM cards that give better
performance or more capability or better stability? (Kind of like
