Forcing Motorola V400 to another Network22 Jun 2004 08:08 GMT4
Is there a way to "force" a different network on this phone (using some sort
of keypad combination)?
For example, when I had a Verizon (CDMA) phone, I could "force" the phone to
use a non-Verizon SID to make & receive calls in areas where Verizon was

I finally bought myself a v400 (I am cheap and waited for the price to fall

thought they were the same except for the Bluetooth. What am I missing?

Nokia 3395 Doesn't Have Call Waiting20 Jun 2004 04:04 GMT6
My Cingular service has call waiting, and when I get a second call
during a call, the phone indicates that a call is waiting. However, when
I press "Options", no "Swap" function is available. Why not? The
Cingular No-Service reps say the phone is defective, but both of my

Phone wouldn't call, just beeps18 Jun 2004 03:12 GMT4
Wasn't sure what to put in the subject...yesterday I was in Tampa,
Florida, on the USF campus.  When I tried to call any of the phone
numbers to the Hope Lodge I would get a couple beeps, and then the
call would end, and the phone would be back to the main screen.  I
Signing up for the Media Package online? Be sure to call.18 Jun 2004 03:00 GMT1
If you have signed up for the Media package online I would suggest you call
Cingular by phone. I am not sure of the reasoning, but it appears that they
did not process my online request, because I was already signed up for the
wireless express package.

The phone was pre-configured for Cingular. My T-Mobile SIM obviously doesn't work.
After I turn the phone on (with the T-Mobile SIM installed) it's asking for a
"Subsidy Password". Does anyone know ...
