Is there a way to "force" a different network on this phone (using some sort of keypad combination)? For example, when I had a Verizon (CDMA) phone, I could "force" the phone to use a non-Verizon SID to make & receive calls in areas where Verizon was

I finally bought myself a v400 (I am cheap and waited for the price to fall a bit) The one I got is advertised as being "upgraded to v600 software" I thought they were the same except for the Bluetooth. What am I missing? Bernard

I need some advice on selecting a new carrier that will work driving from central Texas to the San Angelo area. Cingular told me that I had the choice of only one phone is this correct? Have had Alltel but they don't have service out in San Angelo. I think my choices are Cingular

Does anyone know when Cingular will be offering GSM phones in Tallahassee, Florida? There is T-Mobile service here, and AT&T Wireless has just opened several stores here, so there is GSM service available in Tallahassee.

If you have signed up for the Media package online I would suggest you call Cingular by phone. I am not sure of the reasoning, but it appears that they did not process my online request, because I was already signed up for the wireless express package.
