| Maybe stupid questions about camera phones | 20 Jul 2004 04:42 GMT | 4 |
What are they for? Do most people need them? How often do you whip out your cell phone to take a picture? Are they just digital cameras where you store your shots and then download them to your system? How much can they typically store?

| Nokia 6200 as modem | 19 Jul 2004 13:05 GMT | 1 |
Today's attempted install of Nokia PC Suite 6.2 gave an Internal Error. But the DKU5 install had put in a virtual port COM10 for the phone, and an attempt with Smith-Micro's modem software on the GPRS number seemed to connect, then quit. So I went to try good old local-dial-up ...

| Philly Area: Have TDMA Family Plan, Need New Phone.... | 18 Jul 2004 19:02 GMT | 1 |
My TDMA phone is on the way out - dropped one too many times, I guess. Cingular has closed their walk-in repair facility in Trooper. I suppose I *could* go to the K of P store and get the service moved to another TDMA phone that I have in reserve.

| e-mail options | 18 Jul 2004 14:10 GMT | 3 |
I'm thinking about switching from AT&T to Cingular. AT&T has a service for viewing your POP3 e-mail via a WAP enabled web site. This has been a great tool for me. I do not have to download my e-mail to my phone. This has provided much faster e-mail and reduced my data usage to

| How does a current customer get a good upgradedeal? | 18 Jul 2004 04:41 GMT | 8 |
Ok, I'm confused. I've been with Cingular since it was Bellsouth Mobility. Why can't I get an upgrade of my phone to something reasonably current? Every store I try to work with wants me to pay an outrageous amount as if I were a new customer

| Media Package, what can I do with it? | 18 Jul 2004 04:31 GMT | 7 |
Ok, I called Cingular. The MMS unlimited is still available for $20. But can I use my PDA (Ipaq w/bluetooth and T637) to access the internet and my email? Yes, I have T-Mobile now and it is great and free to do all this , BUT

| Billing cycle problems | 18 Jul 2004 02:46 GMT | 7 |
I signed a two-year cointract with Cingular on the 8th of last month. My service started on the 10th (!). Around the 29th, I called and checked my current minutes. I was planning on upgrading to the next plan if I was short, but they were still well within my plan, so I

I have the 6340i but was thinking of getting the v400 or v600. I don't know whether it is GSM or the phone 6340i but I always have a buzzing sound when I am on a call. Anyone suggest on getting the v400 or v600 or is the 6340i just a better phone for service.

Has anyone been able to access the Sonyerisson site on their T637 (or any SE phone for that matter) to download new content? I can't seem to get there on my phone. I've tried www.sonyericsson.com, wap.sonyericsson.com and mobile.sonyericsson.com and all get a "505:
