What phones either in use now or to be released shortly, would combine the
features of the V600 (ie. bluetooth, quad-band, etc...not necessarily a
camera) with EDGE??

Hi folks -
I am travelling to Harbor Springs, Michigan this weekend and can't
tell for certain whether Cingular has coverage up there. I know that
NPI has GSM coverage, but does Cingular have a roaming agreement with
Pre-paid SIM in New York City?06 Aug 2004 15:50 GMT2
I'm planning on staying for 3 weeks in NYC.
I want to bring my own GSM (tri-band) handset, and use it to make and
receive mostly local calls.
Anyone has any idea as to how to do that as cheaply as possible?

How about, RM143@ret.com?  Do you remember posting as Bill not_Bill@msn.com
in alt.cellular.sprintpcs way back when?  I certainly do. You have been skulking
about, doing your nasty, filthy TROLL Boi thing for years.  It is time for
all your LIES to be exposed.

Rollover Minutes04 Aug 2004 13:03 GMT1
Hi I am thinking of switching to Cingular. Rollover minutes really attract
me, but can someon eexplain if there are any things to look out for?
If i have a 100 minute plan (example only) and I only 50 minutes that means
next month I have a 150 minutes next month right? Okay next ...
"No roaming charges, ever!"  -- Yeah,sure.04 Aug 2004 04:29 GMT52
"No roaming charges, ever!", or so says the commercial for Cingular
Nation GSM plans.  So instead of calling it a roaming charge, they

This is an old problem but it bit me recently.
I have true nationwide free roaming.  Last month I made a couple calls

Pt. Huron.  The phone (I think) said Cingular Extend.  When I got the

I'm a Cingular customer in the San Francisco bay area. Where Cingular
has recently changed over their GSM network from 1900Mhz to a mixture
of 850Mhz and 1900Mhz. Cingular no longer supports my Ericsson T28
World phone as it is 1900Mhz and 900Mhz only. I bought my phone from
truesinc or phone tools?03 Aug 2004 18:40 GMT2
Good day. I have a V60g and want to connect it to a laptop to use it as a
modem. Which do I need, truesinc or phone tools. Also if I decided to use
gprs again which software package will work best: truesinc or phonetools?
Thanks.

same ZIP code (rural Georgetown County in SC).  There is good Verizon
the URL Navas lost03 Aug 2004 18:28 GMT3
Navas incorrectly claims that folks only get out of contracts by the
grace of Cellular carriers. Nonsense.
Letters from States Attorney Generals for customers without service
generates such action all the time.
