I'm finalizing my decision between these two phones.  Anybody

1900 gsm only phone after merger?03 Aug 2004 11:06 GMT8
One of my phones that my MIL uses, a Nokia 5190, its 1900 GSM only. I
believe that Cingular will sell off the 1900 spectrum as duplicating its 850
network. Assuming that am I going to get a free replacement? On AWS, I
signed up for
CSD versus GPRS03 Aug 2004 08:40 GMT6
On the "Email Msg Setup" screen of my Motorola V400 there is a field "ISP
setting" which allows "CSD" or "GPRS".
What should the setting be, or what are the advantages/disadvantages of
both?
How's coverage with Nations GSM??03 Aug 2004 01:21 GMT12
Hey, I have a 6340i and am pretty pleased with it; I travel very extensively
throughout the US and the coverage I have with the Nations GAIT plan is really

one of our Sony Ericsson GSM phones on hand in case we need to
make/receive a local (i.e., Canadian) or US call while in either of
Is this TRACONE deal worth buying?01 Aug 2004 10:13 GMT19
After successfully avoiding cell phones, I finally reached a point
where I start seeing there usefulness - but only for emergency
situations and alike. I still very much prefer using regular phones
for routine calls.
Motorola V400 GPRS Settings for a Windows PC01 Aug 2004 09:28 GMT1
I went up to Oregon this month, and to my surprise, I got a GPRS logo on my
phone.  The mobile internet services suddenly started working, and kept
working when I went back to Orange County.  Strangely enough, nothing has
yet showed up on my bill.
LG L1200 - Where is the Phone Sync software?01 Aug 2004 01:39 GMT2
I bought this thing on the grounds that it does EVERYTHING I want it to... but I cannot find the software/cable anywhere!!!  I actually traded in a perfectly fine Samsung p107 for it...
I am looking for advise or a link or SOMETHING to get this thing up to snuff.  Any help is ...
Make a partial payment, lose your phone service! Cingulars no tolerance policy is obsured.01 Aug 2004 01:33 GMT2
There slogan is "Cingular Fits You Best", but they most definitely not true
for most people.
My bill with Cingular was $190.00. It included two activation fees plus
service for one month. The bill was due on the 16th, on the 20th I got a
