| Verizon has free incoming calls | 30 Nov 2004 20:53 GMT | 31 |

I've not been a Cingular user very long (or a cell phone user, for that matter), but I've gotten that message a few times when I've tried to make calls. In general, I've gotten the message in the same places where I have

| Tri mode with GSM | 30 Nov 2004 13:37 GMT | 5 |
I'm considering replacing my TDMA phone with a phone that uses GSM and TDMA. My question is how these phones decide which network to use and do you have any manual control. Will it hang onto a weak unusable GSM signal before it switches to a strong TDMA signal.
