I received my Cingular bill the other day. When I opened it up, I expected
it to say the usual $107 & a few cents that it says I owe every month. This
month's bill: a shade over $53!
I have 2 lines with the 850min/month family plan (should be $59 for the

My wife and I were just about to switch from Verizon to Cingular for our
 family plan.  We tend to not use a lot of minutes, but ocassionally do
(on vacation, extended business travel...), and we get killed by the
Verizon bill roughly once a year; thus the Cingular rollover ...

An article in the New York Times this morning is very interesting.
"AT&T plans to start marketing Sprint's cellphone service as its own
in the first half of 2005, after it wins back the rights to use the
AT&T Wireless brand from Cingular Wireless, which acquired AT&T

I'm pretty sure I'll be switching from Verizon to Cingular and was
advised to get a tri mode phone because I can't seem to get reception
in my own house. I also need a phone that can be used as a modem with
my laptop (mobile office kit must be available)
