If I take the SIM out of my Nokia 6340i and put it in an unlocked Motorola
V400 will it work?  Will Cingular have to do anything to make it work or
will I automatically be able to make/receive calls?

I currently am a Verizon Customer and really thinking about switching to

   Now that I can upload my own MP3 ringtones, I have associated a few with
people in my phone book.  However, now, whenever they send me a text
message, the MP3 I have as their ringtone plays instead of the sound I have
specified for the Txt Msg notification in the main profile ...

I have heard conflicting reports.  Will the Cingular GSM phones roam on
other carriers or do I have to be picked-up by AWS/Cingular towers to be
able to place I call?  This refers to general travel throughout the US.

couple of days.  Seems strange.

   I've got the cable, drivers, and mPT all seemingly working fine.
However, whenever I upload an MP3 to use as a ringtone, it shows as corrupt
when I try to play it on the phone.  Do they have to be in a particular bit
