When I ordered a new V551 phone and new service for Cingular, I said I
wanted to use my old number.  I was issued a temporary number, then I
called to switch my Verizon number to my new phone.  Didn't think
anything about it until the bill came today.  They charged me $39.75

If I have ATTWS TDMA and want to switch to GSM, but i buy my phone on
my own, how do I get Cingular to send me a SIM card that works with my
old TDMA number but now GSM bill? (I have another GSM phone and wish
to combine billing)

I cannot see any moisture sensor in my Samsung x427m.
Any one know if there is one?

I have a mac at home (Panther OS X) and a PC at work.  I have Entourage
and Outlook.  Can I sync the Treo650 with both-- i.e. when I get to work
and when I come home.  Would the conduits conflict with each other?  Help.

should and simply allows the phone to be homed in on a primary network. I I
live in Madison NJ and when I had the 32 meg sim I was on t-mobile towers
which I could confirm by dialing a number to get that ...

I am going to italy(Rome) for a week in February. I have a Siemens SL56 GSM
phone. Will it work there and any idea what the charges would be? I have

I've long been a fan of AT&T's (now Cingular's) TDMA/analog network in
Oregon.  I have several family members who like to carry a limited-use phone
in their cars that's activated on Free2Go prepaid.  I like that one because
we can get automatic $10/month recharge via credit card, ...

I am considering a Sony Ericsson Z500a.  I would only need sporatic online
access with it, and thus no need for an expensive data plan.  Can such a
phone be used as an analog modem with Cingular's network, and is there
anything I have to arrange for to make it work?

I own a Moto V551 and can't seem to figure out how to configure the browser
the retrieve my web based email.  It is not through Yahoo, AOL, or MSN
(it's Cox cable).  Can anyone help me with this?

I recently moved from Florida to southwest Michigan.  Initially (before
the AT&T merger) I was unable to get my number changed to a Michigan
number since Cingular had no service here.  Now, after the merger, I
can hopefully get a Michigan number.
