I have the 600 min. nationwide plan where there are no roaming charges.
I was looking at my minutes on-line before and in the "roaming" column it
says available/0 used/5
This makes it look like I used 5 roaming minutes with none available but

Does Cingular drop long calls when roaming?04 Mar 2005 02:11 GMT9
We've noticed that when travelling out of our normal Cingular area, our phones disconnect after 8 or 10 minutes of a call.
Around town we can converse for long periods of time but when we are out of town no calls last more than 10 minutes.
It's become so predictable that we are ...

I've got a Nokia 3395 using Cingluar. I'd like to set it so that a PIN
is needed to make outgoing calls.
Currently, when the phone is switched on (which it normally is, so that
I can receive calls), anybody who gets their hands on my phone can make

Has anyone tried this and had it work?
What would you do?03 Mar 2005 01:35 GMT2
I'm currently an employee of AT&T (not wireless) and I get a ok discount on

weekend and doesn't work anymore.  So I call up AT&T WS ...

Roaming with T-Mobile?02 Mar 2005 04:51 GMT5
Does Cingular have roaming agreement(s) with T-Mobile? If so, anyone know if
that agreement is for the entire T-Mobile network, or only for certain
towers/areas?
T-Mobile's website shows "street level" coverage maps . . . The area I am
help, I screwed up my wife's SE Z60001 Mar 2005 23:16 GMT1
My wife has a unlocked Sonyericsson Z600 that was working just fine, it
would browse the web and fetch her email.  I thought it would be great if
she could use her pda to read and browse to, via the phone/bluetooth.  Well
I messed the settings up so the phone would only act like ...
Treo 65001 Mar 2005 23:04 GMT1
I heard that the Treo 650 purchased from Cingular comes crippled, in a
way that prevents you from using it as a gateway for your computer to
get Internet connectivity via EDGE/GPRS.
Is this true?
They got Paris Hilton's contacts, and could get yours, too01 Mar 2005 11:37 GMT1
The attack is simple, according to Bob Egan of MobileCompetency.com,  who
wrote the report. Most cell phone providers offer a service called "skip
passcode," which allows mobile subscribers to enter their cell phone
voicemail and select other administrative options without entering ...
