All the people in here are really smart and helpful, can someone PLEASE tell me how to get the word Cingular ( or change it to something I want it to say) on the main display if there is a way? I own a LG L1400.. I`ll getcha a beer or your beverage of choice for the help..

I ordered my goPhone from the web yesterday and received the phone and the SIM chip today. However, the "how to activate" part and my cell phone number are nowhere to be found. All there was in the "How to get started" envelope was the SIM chip.

Will the Motorola V635 be available anytime soon for Cingular? I am wondering if maybe the battery time is better than the V551. Also, I know it has Edge. Does anyone know if its' class 10 vs. the class 4 of the V551?

Cingular is my cellphone provider but I want a A630 which is only carried by T Mobile. If I buy the T mobile phone and put my SIM card from my Cingular phone in will it work?

I'm a little confused about the additional GSM coverage provided by the AT&T combination. I thought AT&T was mostly TDMA service. If so, how does AT&T add to the GSM coverage of Cingular?
