HS810/HS850 replacement earhook10 May 2005 00:02 GMT4
My two-year-old was yanking on my headset while we were walking, and
apparently pulled off the earhook (the part that folds out and wraps
around your ear).
Does anybody know a source for replacement earhooks?
V551 & Bluetooth09 May 2005 22:49 GMT6
I own a Motorola V551 cell phone.  If I get a Bluetooth adaptor for my
laptop computer should be able to backup my contacts list with the software
that comes with the adaptor or will I have to buy Motorola's software?

difficult reception area09 May 2005 18:10 GMT31
Does anyone here, by chance, live in Manhattan, facing the HUdson River.
I live in the 90s and on VZ, I pick up a Jersey City Cell site which
really just isn't strong enough for the distance.
Of course there are several VZ sites geographically nearer to me ....
Should I buy the SX66?09 May 2005 17:33 GMT3
My contract is up and I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade to the
Siemens SX66 from Cingular, or get a cheaper or free phone. I don't
talk on my cellphone a whole lot, so I have a cheap plan ($29.99 per
month) and I'd like to keep it that way. I'd like to be able to surf
Using cingular phone on T-Mobile plan?09 May 2005 17:32 GMT3
I had a couple of question regarding unlocking a Samsung phone that I'd like
to buy through Cingular for use with my T-Mobile plan.
1) How would I go about doing it? Is it as simple as entering a code into my
phone for it or do I actually have to go into the phone and do something?

How to block cel phone email spam?08 May 2005 12:14 GMT7
Today after having a new V551 for 4 months, and having received no email messages, I get 8 emails on my phone in one day with a
message saying there was a virus in the email. (I don't know whether the virus message came from the Cingular or from the
originator). I have given my ...
Media Works vs. Media Net (wap.cingular vs. isp.cingular)07 May 2005 23:35 GMT4
I have been having problems with the ReqWireless EmailViewer program
causing my v551 to reboot.  BTW, WebViewer and EmailViewer are amazing!
Highly recommended.
They asked if I was using a wap or internet APN.  I had been using the
Looking for recommendations on cell accessory dealers online and in-store07 May 2005 22:56 GMT2
I'm looking for online and offline retailers who sell accessories for cell
phones.  In particular I'm looking for car battery chargers and bluetooth
adapters at less than the full retail price that OEMs are charging.  I can't
see paying $30 - 40 for a bluetooth adaptor or a car ...
TDMA coverage getting WORSE??07 May 2005 21:31 GMT46
I've got an old Ericsson T19LX (actually a couple for family members too)
and I could swear the reception is getting worse on all of them.
Are the shutting down TDMA towers or something now that Cingular has
bought AT&T and doesn't use it?
Cingular Family Talk Plans...07 May 2005 01:16 GMT14
How does Cingular Family Talk work?  My understanding is that I would
choose one plan to share between the two lines that I currently have
and share those minutes between those two phones.  The reason I asked
is because I recently added a second phone to my account and was
Is data service compatibility hardware driven?06 May 2005 22:24 GMT10
Is a cell phone's compatibility with one of the prevailing data service
protocols (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPDA, and EDVO) limited by hardware
within the phone?  And, can it be changed?
For example, if you purchased a Cingular phone that was GPRS-capable,
