| Bought my phone, do I have to tell Cingular? | 10 Jun 2005 09:46 GMT | 9 |
I decided to just go and buy my own phone and not go through Cingular... It's working fine now... The only thing is that the person whom I bought the phone from told me I had to call Cingular and give them a number on the box (also inside the phone), some type of serial number... ...

| Why Did The Cingular Rep Upgrade My SIM? | 10 Jun 2005 01:17 GMT | 10 |
Sorry, I guess I haven't kept up with the latest fashion trends :). I upgraded my phone today (to a Seimens SX66) in a Cingular store. The rep deactivated my old SIM and gave me a new 64K unit. He said I needed it in order to access both Cingular and (former) AT&T cell

| Feedback from Speakers | 09 Jun 2005 20:08 GMT | 3 |
I have a brand new Motorola RAZR V3 with Cingular service. What I am noticing is that I am unable to use this phone in the same room as my computer because I get feedback from my speakers. It sounds like buzzing in pseudo-Morse code (it is not a solid buzz). This only

| Changing plans right after new contract | 09 Jun 2005 19:10 GMT | 9 |
I've done this in the past but it's been a while, so I'm wondering if anyone has done it recently. I'm a very low minutes user, currently on a $9.99/mo plan, and I'm not on contract. I still have an old TDMA Startac :). Well, my phone is

I am a former AT&T customer and I have my e-mails forwarded to my phone. With AT&T the incoming text messages were free. I do not believe this is the same on cingular, right? TIA

| Need help becoming a Cingular agent; but I can help you with any verizon questions | 09 Jun 2005 07:41 GMT | 11 |
Hello, I have tried all the 800 numbers to no joy. Like VZW, there is an art to finding the right person/place. If you can help me with a number to a live person about Cingular Indirect Sales, that would be great. We would like to move our retail locations from VZW to Cingular ...

I might setup two or three phones with Cingular, seperately. Can I go back a month or so later and move those 2-3 phones into a single Family Plan without much hassle, and also port over a number or two at that time? Thanks,

| how to select CSD access on v180 | 08 Jun 2005 11:43 GMT | 1 |
How do I get my V180 to use a specific CSD dialup setting rather than the default GPRS? As it came from Cingular there's a GPRS setting and 2 CSD settings, one to WAP@CINGULAR.COM and one to WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM . So far, I believe, it's using GPRS which charges me for the data. ...
