Best Buy upgrade14 Jul 2005 03:32 GMT4
I currently have a Family plan with Cingular and and got a 2 year contract.
We are past the 2 years, and are now able to upgrade.  I went to the Cingular
store, and was told that I can get the best prices they offer on phones,
under the condition that I renew the contract for 2 ...

Update pushed to phone?13 Jul 2005 18:27 GMT20
I charge my phone (V600) in a cradle near my PC speakers and I'm used
to hearing brief static/chatter in my PC speakers every now and then
as my phone and the nearby tower discuss whatever phones and towers
discuss, but nothing long and sustained.  Just now the chatter/static

ATTWS migration experience (so far)13 Jul 2005 13:37 GMT4
I've got a T68i from the ATTWS days, and have been out of contract for over
a year now. In general, I should be considered a pretty desirable customer,
since I pay my bills on time, typically use about half of my minutes, and
control three other lines (which the rest of the ...
Motorola V400 in South America13 Jul 2005 12:52 GMT4
I will be travelling to Colombia at the end of the year.  I have a
Cingular branded V400.  Can I use that in Colombia?  Specifically, I was
thinking of buying a pre-paid plan at a company like this  (sorry, it is
only in Spanish) who advertise a "3GSM" prepaid plan.
Razr to Razr Bluetoothing Address Book & charger question13 Jul 2005 07:41 GMT1
I just got two razrs here and fully programmed one, I had the V551's and
used bluetooth feature to move all the phone entries from one phone to the
other, but with the Razrs here I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
I go in and turn both devices to ON for bluetooth, then I ...

V3 Ear Piece volume12 Jul 2005 19:52 GMT9
I am new to Cingular GSM and also got a new V3;  in fact I have a couple of
family members so I have three new motorola V3 phones all running on the
Cingular GSM.
My question is about the ear piece volume.  Even at the highest volume on
will I ever be able to view my minutes used?12 Jul 2005 06:47 GMT6
I just switched to Cingular, and my first billing period was 6/1-6/7. I can
view my minutes used for that period on the web site. However, my regular
billing cycle would be 6/8-7/8. The minutes used for that period STILL
aren't available, and neither are my stats for the new ...
Using a modem over a cell phone12 Jul 2005 06:38 GMT8
I've been trying to investigate ways of using a cell phone to connect my
laptop to the net while travelling. One obvious possibility is to use
the laptop's modem with the cell phone to call an AOl (or other ISP)
access number. That way the only cost from the phone end of the
S710A - Can't Enter URL's Manually12 Jul 2005 06:20 GMT3
I just picked up a Sony Ericsson S710A from my local Cingular store. I
like the phone but...there is no easy way to manually enter a URL using
the Media Net browser program. The only workaround is to set up each
address as a bookmark. You can't just enter a URL on the fly.
