I want to keep my Nokia 6800. I have seen that I can unlock my phone
but the salesman said you don't want to risk it because:

I read about "In Case of Emergency" numbers being a good idea in a cell
phone.  Some first responder, maybe alerted by a label on the phone of ICE,
could look under ICE in the directory, and find an appropriate number to
call.

I received a Treo600 from a friend who had ATT, I'm on Cingular and would
like to use the phone.  Since Cingular and ATT are the same, how can I get
them to give me an unlock code so I can use it on the Cingular Network?
I've Tried updating the Firmware with an unlock in it and ...

Our Family Plan with Cingular uses a Nokia 6010 and grand-daughter's is a
V551.
The Nokia is very difficult to read and impossible outdoors. Yes, we are
seniors, but we read other things without difficulty.

I needed to drop an unused family talk number and revert to a single line
plan.
My first contact was with email CS.  I was told that I would loose all
rollover

When my x497 is in the open position, the ringtone volume is minimized. When
the phone is closed, the volume stays at high where I set it. Samsung says
this is working as designed, wtf? If the phone rings when it is open you
cannot hear it at all!

Anyone have any input on exactly what Cingular considers text messaging?
I assume Cingular is referring to an SMS text message that is sent from
a Cingular phone from another Cinular phone, another carrier's phone, or
an SMS portal (like from Cingular's web page).

I am a current AT&T customer with a treo 600 on the AT&T network. I am
attempting to roll my plan to Cingular (same company, right?), and they
are telling me I need to purchase a NEW TREO in order to work with the
Cingular SIM.

the bullet and get a new cellular plan (previous GoPhone, now 2-year
contract + free LG C2000 phone) along with $19.99/mth unlimited
MediaNet option. Although I couldn't find the unlimited MediaNet plan

This may be a stupid question, but I tried to unlock my phone, but th
message flashed up on the screen so fast I could not read it.  How do
know if I unlocked it correctly

What the best way/place to get ringtones for the Treo 650?  Looking for
variety (would like some college fight songs in addition to tunes).
Availability & simplicity is more important than price.

I am thinking of buying this docking station, but the following blurb
concerns me.  I have 2 land phone lines in my house, one provided by my
employer.  I think that means that I have 3 wires, but I am not really
sure.  Would that be the case, and therefore, this product not work?

reputable? In somecases I have found the phones mfg to be less expensive

I have had roadside assistance for about 2 years.  It seemed pretty good
that it works on any car as long as I have my phone.
I used it today for the first time.  The tow truck said it doesn't cover
accidents and charged me $75.

Can some tell me where I can find a program which I can d/l to my cell
