In the last month I've gotten zero bars in Dulles airport on my Motorola T720 with new SIM card, and zero bars on my son's several year old Nokia in downtown Chicago with old SIM card. Cingular says everything is set up right and should work, and therefore it must be a problem in ...

| Cingular is Becoming Arrogant | 27 Feb 2006 22:07 GMT | 60 |
There used to be a time when you could buy an un-subsidized phone at a Cingular store, pay full price, and get a phone that was unlocked. I have three Sony-Ericsson T6XX phones that I purchased this way and which were never subsidy-locked. This was before the merger with AT&T.

I have been using both the Accelerated and Non-Accelerated connections for the past week and noticed the Accelerated one is often useless at times. I've come to the conclusion the problem is in the Accelerated connection process. I'm using the term "process" to cover all bases in ...

I had a Nokia 6620 and subscribed to Cingular's 5 meg data plan for $9.99/month. No problems. I then replaced the 6620 with a PDA (6515), dropped my SIM in, had no problems.
