Email address24 Mar 2006 18:29 GMT4
A bit off topic but I have searched for and hour or more
attempting to locate the email address for Cingular whose
headquarters is at Dover, DE. They have hid it well.
I have a problem with the local office and I'm so put off
An Alternative Viewpoint24 Mar 2006 18:15 GMT3
After lurking on this forum for a few months and hearing the evils of
Cingular, I really would like to offer some different experiences.
I moved to Cingular about 5 months ago, primarily to move to the then
new Blackberry 8700c.  I have been very pleased with the performance and
at&t sim, Cingular 812524 Mar 2006 11:42 GMT17
Hi. I am a cingular customer and am using an AT&T (Blue) sim card. I had a
Siemens SX56 but am now using a Nokia 6800 - both seemed to work fine on the
Cingular network with my at&t sim card.
If I buy a Cingular 8125 from ebay, locked OR unlocked, would either work
Should an unlocked phone from another vendor be able to receive MMS?24 Mar 2006 05:40 GMT6
I have an unlocked Samsung phone (originally T-Mobile) that I'm using with
my Cingular SIM card.
Voice and text (SMS) work fine.
I understand that anything involving the Internet won't work because
Rollover Minutes24 Mar 2006 03:10 GMT4
How do rollover minutes work?   The plans says that they only last for one
year, but it doesn't explain how this actually works.  For example, let's
say that in February of 2005, I had 200 excess minutes that went into
rollover and in April I had 100 more minutes go into rollover ...
New customer23 Mar 2006 16:03 GMT5
I used to decry Cingular Wireless.  This past Monday, my wife signed us up
for service.
I am willing to give Cingular a try.  I'll keep my current provider, VZW,
until I can terminate service

Phone with other company's firmware23 Mar 2006 04:17 GMT8
I bought an unlocked cellphone with T-Mobile's firmware.  It works fine for
voice and text messages, but (as I anticipated) doesn't have some of the
other network functions.  In particular, it can't download ringtones or
graphics from Cingular.  (Don't worry, I tried one of the ...
Can I listen to mp3s on a Bluetooth headset?22 Mar 2006 23:40 GMT3
I have a Siemens SX66 and I recently bought a Motorola HS805 Bluetooth
headset. Setting this up for hands-free calling was easy, but I would
also like to listen to mp3s over the headset. Is this possible?
tethered data connectivity troubles22 Mar 2006 21:40 GMT24
I've had a Pocket PC configured to connect to the internet via Bluetooth on
a Motorola V557.  This has worked fine for a long time.  This weekend, I
noticed that it was not working and has not worked since.  Nothing has
changed on the phone or Pocket PC, but its like the network ...
How do I use V557 to reach Internet via Bluetooth to Laptop?22 Mar 2006 19:57 GMT7
I have a V557 paired with my laptop via Bluetooth and would like to be able
to access the internet this way for travel but can't get it to work.  I have
a data package so it's up to me now to get this working.  The pairing works
fine and I can send files back and forth.  How do I ...
Change phone without renewing Cingular contract?22 Mar 2006 19:45 GMT28
I'm not in a contract right now, it ran out in November, so I'm doing
month to month with a Cingular plan that hasn't been available for
years. In fact I got it when it was still Cellular One, before it
switched to ATT, before they switched to Cingular, before they became

Moto v551(?) flicker-no answer21 Mar 2006 19:46 GMT4
I upgraded my decrepit cell to a v551, I think, a few months ago and
now it has developed a problem. Sometimes when I go to open it or
answer it, the screen flickers and it doesn't answer the call. It
doesn't shut off, just flickers and doesn't work.
