Bluetooth DUN on my new phone31 Aug 2006 23:48 GMT1
I've been doing a lot of research and getting a little confused.
I used (AT&T phone) to have a Nokia phone (Edge enabled) and I had a
Nokia cable to connect to my laptop.  I would sign up for a data
conection when we were going to travel and use the phone through a
Motorola V3I When?31 Aug 2006 01:52 GMT3
I've been waiting for Cingular to release the Motorola V3I but it seems
like it's forever being postponed.
Does anyone have a handle on the real release date and what may be
holding it up on Cingular? I hope is not just because they have a
EDGE config for PEBL?30 Aug 2006 22:30 GMT2
I have a new (UK version) PEBL that is supposed to be EDGE capable.  The
phone's browser is still slow as ever (as on my older RAZR).  Is there
some special configuration I need to set up to use EDGE?  (EDGE is
available on Cingular in NYC, right?)
Any WiFi phones out there?30 Aug 2006 21:37 GMT9
I know WiFi is available on most PDAs nowadays.
But are there any smartphones with this function?

Recycling SIMS?30 Aug 2006 15:05 GMT4
I just returned from The Netherlands where I picked up a reasonably

appears to be used. They just had it taped back into the hole in the
card from which it was originally punched (?) and that was taped to a

Cingular PUK code algorithm?29 Aug 2006 12:26 GMT1
It is a hassle to have to call Cingular for a new PUK code. My wife was
trying to adjust her bluetooth headset and after she tried three times
to get to to work right her phone said enter the PUK code.
I couldn't find a way to determine the old one and create a new one.

I am a current Cingular customer and am interested in getting a new
phone/device that is internet enabled. What are my options? Blackberry?
Palm? Will these devices connect to the internet as long as I am
getting a Cingular signal (not roaming)? I would be using the device

Can't replay to email->SMS messages27 Aug 2006 15:51 GMT3
I've tried replying to SMS messages that came through both the
Mobile.MyCingular.com gateway (from: 36245) and the
CingularME.com gateway (from: 101-010-NNNN). Both replys get
sent OK (according to the phone), but neither ever shows up. So
