I've done some tethered wap@cingular.. experiments in the Ocala Florida
area and have been faced with some awfully slow hop times (traceroute
like 1500+ms. per hop) as well as timeouts (temporarily unreachable

When I use my treo for dun what is the speed difference?  Would I get

Since I have installed Motorola Phone Tools I occasionally get a dialer
window that opens with the title "Connect Cingular GPRS".  The user name is
