I have Cingular service and live in a deep fringe area.  How can I locate
the best phone for this environment?
At the moment I have a Motorola V170 which is not too hot.
I don't want anything exotic.  Simply a phone that will give decent service

I have my phone configured when I plug it into my laptop via USB, I
get internet.
I removed proxy address in settings.
If there were a go between receiving device It would connect to wifi.

This finally dawned on me, the (Cingular) 8525 apparently
does not have a built-in GPS locator function as does the
(Sprint)(HTC) PPC-6700 that also has Win. Mobile 5.0.
Other late model cell phones are prone to include GPS
