My 5190 finally decided to call it quits a few days ago.  Can no longer find
the network even on manual selection.  Getting it repaired just isnt worth
it i suppose.  Any recommendations for a new handset? Thanx in advance.

A friend with an old 5190 is looking at the 6340. Given she has not had
a new phone for a long time, and has been on prepaid for that time (over
3 years), any ideas as to what discount Fido is willing to offer. I am
guessing she is on the $20 package, but 3 years with only one ...

I'm gonna need to get my T200 unlocked by tomorrow evening, anybody know of
the cheapest place in Toronto to get it done? Also will need a serial data
cable for the same phone in the same time frame. Thanks for any pointers.

Hi everyone, what is the max file size for download of a Java file over WAP
on Fido? I'm trying to download the Java files from Nokia that I lost when I
upgraded the firmware on my 6310i and Fido's WAP gateway is giving me an
"invalid file" error for a 24KB file.

I'm looking for a way to combine the use of my PDA (Zaurus) with my phone
(Sony Erckson T200) to check my email on the go. I heard the T68i can be
used for this purpose but not sure about the T200. Does anyone know or have
a similar setup. Where to get the cabling ??

   I am new with Fido pre-paid.  I wanted to find out, if I check voice
mail from a lan line, do I still get charged air time?  Also, when someone
leaves a voice mail, Fido network sends a text message, does this cost me
anything?

If I use a gateway (other than Fido's) to access WAP services using my
cell phone, will I still be charged for the data going in/out of my
phone?

I have an older Motorola (7930??) triband.  Nice phone works well but
there's a line missing on the display.  Right across the middle.
I read a while back that this was a common problem and that FIDO will fix
it.  Any additona info on this?
