Works great for the email... using with  Bluetooth on my palm, its great and
fast.  however, when I want to use the same gprs connection to browse the
web, its so slow, no matter how small the page.  Anything I should know ?

I understand the purpose of unlocking a gsm phone is so it can be used with
another company (using the appropriate sim card), but what is the purpose of
unlocking the browser? Do I need unlock the browser in addition to the phone
itself?

At the cottage, I found a spot where I can (when careful) get 3 bars from a
6190 phone. The antenna is Mont Tremblant some 27km away. (Tremblant is about
962m altitude, I am at 230m altitude).
I can get service over a stretch of perhaps 100m on the road around the lake.
