and was curious if this is normal for GSM networks... Basically, whenever I
place outgoing calls, I hear a series of fast beeps in the earpiece of my
handset before I hear the phone starts ringing. Is that ...

I've been subscribed to a stock quote service via instant messaging for
my cellphone for the last couple years. Unfortunately I've forgotten
where exactly I signed up for the service, and now I'm trying to stop
the messages. How can I do this? The origin shows up only as a number.

Hi all - I dropped my 3390 last night and the LCD cracked and no longer
works.  Does anyone know if:
a) they can be fixed/replaced
b) fido does this

MTL area - I'm hearing that the Moto V60i is out of stock at most Fido
counters. The g-friend wanted to get me one as a gift and that's the
line she got.

I'm using a Nokia 7190. Since December 24, 2003 at approximately 18h00
I've been getting an error message "number not in use" when attempting
to send txt message to the Philippines. It has worked flawlessly prior
to the above date.

I just got one of these phones and I read on here that the only way to
switch out of analog is to turn the phone off and on.  Is this by design or
is this a problem that will be fixed for this phone??

Can someone confirm if the Nokia 6190 support the analog natively or it
require the same adaptor than the 5190 ????

Maybe it's the season, maybe it's Telus, maybe it's Fido.  I tried to
make a couple of calls moments ago using Fido and I got "all circuits
are busy".

Another example of how the lack of camera phone advertising is hirting Fido.
By 12 year old nephew who has a low end Fido phone was told by him mom that
Fido doesn'T have camera phones. So he sees tnose Telus ads on TV and wants a
telus phone.

Is there a way to avoid the connection (admin bullshit) fee  for
transferring your regular Fido to City Fido?

I just got a hard to find original Siemens PTT headset (made in China)
for my M55.  I don't know if it is the phone or more likely, the

staticy and semi- cutting out.
