Fido expanding coverage anymore?19 Dec 2003 02:33 GMT15
Is Fido going to be expanding the number of cities covered in Alberta?  It
seems once they added Highway 2 coverage(kind of had to) that was it.
Admitedly this probably gives Fido coverage to about 2/3 the population but
still major cities are not covered.

Got a call today from the "promotions department" telling me that since
I was such a good customer (it's been 6 years with Fido, as of today,
coincidentally), I could get the Siemens M55 or A56 for only $25.  The
girl then explained to me that since the M55 was a tri-band phone, I

M55: Great features. Butt Ugly.18 Dec 2003 04:48 GMT5
Is it just me?  Siemens can (and has) put out some superbly designed phones,
the SL55 being the current model I dream of owning, but what's up with the
M55?  Can you change the faceplate/keypad on it?

Lettre ouverte a FIDO - PLAINTE!!!!17 Dec 2003 07:38 GMT8

I  am thinking of switching to CityFido and would like to get rid of my
Telus landline.  Anyone know how reception is in Mission as reception is

? How's the reception in New Westminster12 Dec 2003 15:21 GMT1
I'm thinking of switching to CityFido.  Anyone know how reception is
in the New West Area?  If i switch, I won't be having a landline.  So,
reception is crucial.
Thanks

Siemens M55 or Motorola v60i?11 Dec 2003 03:11 GMT2
I realize that Fido has just brought out the Siemens M55, but both it
and the V60i are being offered at a good price right now. Just
wondering if anyone has a preference for one or the other. Maybe I
should just buy the M55 and test it out first and compare it to the
