been a fido subscriber for a couple of years now and i just received a v60i in the mail (ordered it friday) for $5... threaten to quit and maybe they'll throw it in .. just be sure to get on the line with someone from the cancellations department.

I didn't realize this since I use my Fido mostly on weekends, but calling someone uses up time/seconds/ even if they don't answer. Do all GSM carriers do this in North America?

I will be roaming Los Vegas next year using my Fido GPRS on GsM and Bell Mobility (CDMA) for voice. I'm told that if I am on the T-mobile service for my data, it will be free on my plan with Fido.

I read somewhere that Cityfone uses the same technology as fido and therefore should be good with GSM phones. I have a GSM phone which I tried with a Cityfone SIM card but it doesn't work.
