When will Fido bring the $40 unlimited to Montreal?05 Dec 2003 21:06 GMT7
They have had this in Vancouver for a while now to compete with Telus.
I think they should bring it here....
It's a $40 dollar package and is unlimited local calling, very nice I

What's a good phone and service for best rural coverage?05 Dec 2003 19:35 GMT3
I'm using a Nokia 6160 Pay-as-you-Go with Rogers but it won't switch
to analogue in the boonies. Whenever there are only 1-2 signal bars, I
can't reliably communicate and the phone won't let me force Analogue
mode. I don't use it enough for a monthly plan, but worry about

I'm here in montreal and i'm thinking of buying the Motorola V60i.

If one were to call and complain at great lengths that they were going to

Cityphone plan that is in Vancouver if they resided in Toronto. Is it
possible? or would they just send another phone to satisfy the ...

fido pre-paid service03 Dec 2003 01:52 GMT2
I'd like to use the pre-paid service but I do not have any account with
fido. Would I have to buy a SIM card? How much would it cost?
Would any other Sim card work for fido pre-paid?
I live in Vancouver BC.

Query: Opinions on Current FIDO Handsets02 Dec 2003 14:40 GMT10
I am looking to get one of the cheaper Fido phones for my daughter.  I'd
like to hear comments on the SE 300 vs 310.
Really mostly interested in basic phone use, i.e. sound quality,
reception, etc. not the GPSR, games or gimmicks.
