Siemens M55 Data Cable09 Jan 2004 10:05 GMT8
Siemens M55
Does anyone knows where I can buy cheap data cable (serial or USB) in
Montreal, fido does'nt have them yet and there too expensive!!
Or even better, I you have the layout diagram for the cable.
Taking up GPRS in mid month.09 Jan 2004 09:58 GMT3
I expect my M55 soon. Will, of course, be playing with GPRS as soon as I get it.
A furry 4 leggedFido CSR told me that if I were to subscribe to the $5.00
option for 500k in mid month, they would only charge $2.50 (or whatever
pro-rated for number of days) and only give me a ...
Fido is discontinuing V60i09 Jan 2004 07:38 GMT5
I just got off the phone from Fido and despite many customers'
requests, they are discontinuing the V60i.  Customer Service does not
and WILL not be ordering any more of these phones.
That said, the rep did mention that if customers do want this phone,
PIN on A5608 Jan 2004 23:56 GMT4
I picked up a used A56 the other day.  I tried setting a PIN but the phone
wanted me to enter a code.  I assume a PIN was previously set but it was
turned off.  I sent an email to the seller asking him about it, but I wonder
if a Fido tech would be able to reset the PIN for me.  I ...
anyone knows what other phones fido will be getting?08 Jan 2004 07:06 GMT1

Anyone know where I can download polyphonic ring tone for Siemens M55 for
free?
instant messaging capacity07 Jan 2004 22:37 GMT3
Hi all, I'm curious about how many incoming messages you can store on
your newer cell phones. On my old 3390 I can only get about 20 and would
like to get more. Thanks.

Signal meter low on M55?07 Jan 2004 19:10 GMT3
This is a question for the M55 owners: I just got a M55 from fido and I
notice the signal meter is very low.  In places like my home where I got
4-5/5 on the Samsung or motorola, I just get 2-3/4 with the Siemens even
near the window.   Do you know if this is just the calibration of ...
Siemens hot/quick/fast keys07 Jan 2004 04:20 GMT3
I already set my keypad #3 to a shortcut.  Now, I want to change it to
another one.
Does anyone know how to change the hot or fast key to a different
setting on the M55?  The manual makes no mention.
WTT: Unlocked Ericsson T200 World Phone for 850 Coverage Phone06 Jan 2004 02:49 GMT1
As the subject says, want to trade my Unlocked Sony-Ericsson T200 (GSM900,
1800,
1900) for a phone with GSM 850 coverage.
Don't really care which one, something like the Nokia 3595 would be perfect.
Is this worth it?06 Jan 2004 02:12 GMT3
Is this worth it?  I am looking for something cheap.  I saw this on eBay.  I
work around a heavy construction site and I am not looking for a fancy phone
something I can abuse.   I don't care about cameras, color screens and GPRS.
I am looking for a 5190 and or 3390 and saw this ad ...
Thinking Of Switching To Fido &  Have Some Questions?06 Jan 2004 00:33 GMT3
I'm thinking of switching to Fido and was wondering what the best plan they
offer right now is, & how much unlimited evenings & weekends cost?
I have a unlocked T68i I currently use with Rogers Pay As You Go, will I see
better or worse performance with the T68i on Fido?
Can we send pics with SMS05 Jan 2004 05:55 GMT1
Is this possible and if so, what is the max size?
Is it the cell or the network?04 Jan 2004 11:54 GMT1
On my new Siemens M55 handset I had a call where the connection was
very poor: crackling, cutting out, distortion.   Single strenghth was
3-4 bars.  Never had a problem with the network before in this area.
Is this a network or phone issue?
GPRS, M55 and other questions04 Jan 2004 11:23 GMT3
OK, I couldn't resist the offer from FIDO to get a M55 for $25, even if it
means that I am probably foregoing another upgrade for quite some time.
So, in a couple of weeks, I'll be moving from the 20th century to the 21st.
But I have a few questions since I would like to use my ...
