Does anyone know if it is possible to subscribe to Fido's "unlimited"
GPRS ($50/month) with the $10/month retention plan?

I just spoke to a fido rep. and they told me that the fido dollars can only
be used towards the purchase
of a new phone at "Regular Price" and can not be combined with any special
sale going on.

Since networks like Microcell don't provide routable IP adresses to phones,
and since Blackberry servers are supposedly able to push content to the
phone/blackberry, does anyone know how this is accomplished ?

Anyone know if Fido is doing EDGE trials on their network and when we might
see them roll this out nationally?  I don't recall hearing any announcements
and from some contacts I have it seems like Roger is a stones throw away
from national deployment.

I sometimes see people speaking on their cell phones in the Yonge/Bloor
subway station. Does anyone know which carrier has coverage there?
